Paraeducators “Living Wage” Mobilization Meeting

This virtual meeting is being organized by a coalition of labor unions representing public school paraeducators, including AFT Connecticut. The purpose is to develop a collective legislative action strategy designed to secure living wages, more professional development and a stronger voice in planning and placement meetings for our students.

Agenda includes discussion of efforts to build on last year’s passage of legislation implementing recommendations of the school Paraeducator Advisory Council in order to further improve paras’ working conditions.
