Across Connecticut, labor unions were out in force this past weekend calling and door knocking on union households to get out the vote for Election Day.
On Saturday, AFT Connecticut held a rally at the Hartford Federation of Teachers Office on Buckingham St.
AFT President Randi Weingarten was joined by AFSCME President Lee Saunders in calling on the crowd to keep pushing to the finish line.
Congressmen John Larson and Chris Murphy were there to thank the crowd for their continued support.
Hundreds of union members have been participating in labor-to-labor walks and phone banks for months.
